Leighton McCarthy, a resident of Penticton for over 13 years, brings a wealth of experience in consulting, planning and development, with a particular focus on libraries. He is deeply committed to community service, having volunteered on numerous boards, including Calgary Habitat for Humanity, Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, SOS Arts, and most recently, the Community Foundation grants committee. His insights from serving on the CFSOS grants committee have reinforced his belief in the importance of the Foundation’s work in supporting local organizations. Leighton is enthusiastic about bringing his skills and experience to the table to help the Community Foundation continue its vital work in the community.
