Melisa is the Peer Support Supervisor and 2SLGBTQ+ Peer Support Worker at Foundry Penticton (One Sky Community Resources) and previously served as a youth recreational coordinator with the YES project (Okanagan Boys and Girls Club). Melisa contributes to several local & provincial committees and tables, including being on the Board of Directors for the South Okanagan Similkameen Pride Society and participating in a community collaborative workplace inclusion task force. Melisa looks forward to sharing their voice as an identifying queer and non-binary person on the Community Foundation’s Board, and being a part of the change that will make a difference for future generations to come.
