We’re proud to be one of the participating community foundations across Canada taking part in the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund, a collaboration between the Canadian Red Cross, Community Foundations of Canada, and United Way Centraide Canada.
The Community Services Recovery Fund aims to support the adaptation and modernization needs of non-profit and charitable Community Service Organizations facing immediate and long-term impacts of the pandemic, as they continue to support communities.
We delivered a total of $306,000 in funding to eight organizations in our region through the Community Services Recovery Fund:
