BC SPCA
This year the Community Foundation made a significant grant to the BC SPCA in Penticton. The dog run area for the centre was in dire need of upgrading. The old setup was unusable during bad weather, with the dogs becoming muddy, wet, and cold. This new addition will go a long way towards keeping our canine friends comfortable while they seek loving families to care for them.
As you can see, the project is well underway!



By the way, the dog shown above is called Iceberg. He’s a two year old Alaskan malamute with lots of charm! As of July 6, 2010 he is still available for adoption.
