One of the great things about working for a Community Foundation is being witness to, and inspired by, community leaders who are making a real difference around the country.  Community Foundations have a unique opportunity to impact the lives of the citizens they serve by bringing resources together to create change.  Here are links to news from several Community Foundation leaders who are helping and inspiring their donors to create positive social change.

- Faye Wightman, President and CEO of Vancouver Foundation, looks for new ways to expand community ties, in the Vancouver Sun

- Rahul Bhardwaj, Toronto Community Foundation’s President and CEO, takes centre stage on the Globe and Mail’s Business News Network, in a series called The Future of Philanthropy

- Iona Green of Ottawa Community Foundation, in the Ottawa Citizen, writes about a new partnership to help preserve local eco-systems

- Ian Bird, CFC’s new President and CEO, talks about integrity during Volunteer Canada’s recent Business and Community Partnership Forum. Listen to the podcast
